Excellent beginner set and tremendous value.

I got this set from Costco as a beginner not knowing what to buy. It turns out this is one of the best beginner sets you could possible get. When compared to other beginner sets, the quality and durability of these clubs really stand out. It has a "Cavity back" design. This(as in "cavity back iron") refers to a design feature in golf irons that produces increased perimeter weighting, thereby making the iron more forgiving on mis-hits. To put it another way, a cavity back is intended to make the iron easier to hit for a wider range of golfing abilities. You typically don't see such design features in beginner clubs which makes me think this set really should be categorized as beginner-to-lower-intermediate set. After a couple years of playing with this set I'm already able to compete with those who've played a lot longer.
